| Duties: | Our corporate client is seeking high-energy professionals to join their team. They are open to candidates with high-volume A/P processing experience or new grads seeking a challenging role in a growing corporate accounting team.
The Accounting Specialist will provide accounting support for a particular line of business. Handle specific clients processing A/P as well as running data reports in the financial system.
Duties:
- Process high volume accounts payable
- Organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Assumes responsibility for performing assigned accounting and related data mining functions
- Process a large variety of documents, reports and records
- Responsible for ensuring accounting principles and policies are met
- Assume responsibility for effectively researching, tracking and resolving accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Assist Accounting department as needed
- Ad hoc projects as required |
| Experience Required: | Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of job related experience (or if a new accounting grad, must demonstrate experience during college in leadership roles, interships, or work experience)
- Experience with accounting systems, databases and reporting tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in effectively working in a cross-functional environment, interacting with multiple departments
- Responds well in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Flexible, uses critical thinking skills and open to learning new ideas/skills
- Process oriented
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
