| Duties: | Our Plano client has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst with 4-6 years of FP&A experience and strong system skills (including heavy Excel and Essbase, SQL, and/or Access).
Position will be supporting operations in the analysis of supply costs from a budgeting and analysis standpoint.
• Management financial variance analyses, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Profitability and trend analysis, analytics and forecasting of key business drivers.
• Key contact for development of budgets, quarter forecasts and business support. |
| Experience Required: | • BBA Finance or Accounting Degree
• 4-6 years professional experience in FP&A
• Able to understand and work with key financial metrics (ROI, breakeven)
• Should be very adept with Excel and modeling concepts, with IBM Cognos TM1 a plus.
• Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles, cash flow concepts and sensitivity analyses to financial models are important coming into this position.
• Strong ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information and the ability to accurately explain/report activity in both verbal and written communications.
• Eager to learn with a natural curiosity of business models including process improvements in the FP&A sphere
• Be intellectually proactive, inquisitive, and curious in interacting with various departments.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work. Superior analytical and reasoning skills.
• Ability to communicate and interact with peer groups and senior levels of management.
