Duties: | We are looking for a Tier 2 Desktop Support Specialist to provide onsite and remote technical support and assist with proactive and reactive support calls and tickets. The role will involve basic desktop and systems administration support.
This is a contract role with a duration of 3+ months with potential for extension and direct hire conversion.
Tier 2 Desktop Support Specialist will work in a collaborative, business casual environment with a focus on health, wellness, and community involvement. We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, highly customer focused, patient, an effective communicator, self-initiating, has a positive attitude, and is able to prioritize and execute tasks without micro-management.
To be considered for this job, candidates may be required to have the following skills and experience:
* Tier 2 – Desktop Support
* Laptop & Desktop setup (joining to domain)
* iphone Support
* Cloud App Support (O365, Google Apps, Dropbox, etc)
* Win7 & Win10
* Public Speaking/User Training
* Familiarity with Mac (plus)
* Asset Management/Documentation
* Network Documentation
* Executive Level Support
* Remote colleague Support
* Terminal Server/ Server 2008 and 2012 (plus)
* Active Directory Computer and user Objects
* Installation, troubleshooting, testing and configuration of wired/wireless networks (routers, switches, firewalls)
* Software and hardware diagnostics
* Providing support for server-based applications & for IT related systems (IP phones, VPN clients, etc.)
* Resolve network related issues (internet connectivity, printers, viruses)
* iOS and Windows – configuring emails, printers, network drives, software, etc.
* Domains, Active Directory, Group Policies, Permissions
* Work directly with clients and provide exceptional customer service |
Experience Required: | Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) |
