| Duties: | Frisco Family Services is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and solution oriented part-time Food Pantry Assistant to assist with our comprehensive food pantry program.
The individual will assist with a team of volunteers and work with staff to accomplish program goals, ensuring our mission is met. The Food Pantry Assistant is responsible for assisting with administrative responsibilities and making timely food pantry donation pick-ups while maintaining a positive rapport with other non-profits, schools, corporations, vendors, religious and other organizations and serve as an ambassador for Frisco Family Services. Must be flexible and have strong organizational and communication skills. Responsible for assisting in ensuring proper receiving and distributing of food, maintaining warehouse logs and other reports, organizing and stocking goods, ensuring pantry and back stock area are kept neat, assist with coordinating and making food pick-up and deliveries from vendors and ensuring proper rotation of food. Heavy lifting required (50 pounds plus). Must be flexible for evening and weekend activities as necessary. |
| Experience Required: | A minimum of 1-3 years or equivalent experience required. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must have excellent driving record. Must be able to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold. Bilingual Preferred. |
