Authority Roofing

I called due to a small leak that appeared suddenly after a recent storm. I spoke with a nice gentleman; he set up an appointment to inspect.

When the appointment time came, he arrived on time, he was friendly and explained the problem to my husband, advised us to replace our builders plastic vent with a metal one. We agreed. He said he'd send us a quote in a few days. That was a Tuesday.

After three days, I figured our quote got lost in the shuffle. We're all human so I left a message. "Hi, thanks for coming out to inspect our roof, we'd like to move forward with all the work you recommended. Looking forward to receiving the quote from you."

I'm not sure what happened. It's sad because everything was perfect right up to the failure to respond. This is the company we wanted to work with; it just wasn't meant to be.

What can I say, these guys are great! We got a new roof on the house we bought because of them!

Our rep, Dustin Moore, worked with our Sellers and their insurance company after the inspection showed hail damage. After closing they put on our roof in just one day, and even helped us decide on the roof color and gutters. Will definitely be referring them to others!

Jaren from Authority came in and took charge of everything. He showed me the best roof and proceeded to get it done and paid for by my insurance company. And when my A/C went out in the middle of everything he called someone in that was highly recommended to him. He came out with them and made sure it was taken care of correctly. He supervised the job throughout the day and was always available if I had a question.
The roofers were very efficient and polite. They left my yard cleaner than it was before they even got there!
I have had several compliments on the roof in just the few days that it has been up. One other contractor said, "Now that is a beautiful roof!"

Living through the volatile Spring storms in DFW we've had to replace our roof twice in the past three years. Our first experience with a roofing contractor was just "ok". Many of the issues I've seen mentioned about other contractors on Yelp were the same as we experienced. But we changed contractors and used Authority Roofing for our second roof replacement and we as so glad we did. Our contractor was Chris Cox who was outstanding throughout. He was upfront and transparent with his communication which is typically the biggest complaint I read online and hear from our friends and neighbors about their contractor. He made the insurance process effortless for us and most import the finished product met and in many way exceeded our expectations.

The day after a major weather event roofing reps are EVERYWHERE trying to lock down your business and get their sign up in your yard. Its important to pick the right company and contractor to avoid being victimized twice. Our experience is that you can't go wrong with Authority or Chris.

I called Authority roofing and gave them my information to get a quote on fixing a roof leak. They didn't call me back, but since my leak wasn't an emergency, I let it slide and didn't think about it for awhile. More than awhile actually, since it didn't rain for awhile. Rainy season kicks up again, and I call once again. Talk to a nice lady on the phone. Explain the situation. I'm now under a time pressure to get this leak fixed since I am selling my home. I explain to her that last time, nobody ever called me back and it was really important that they get back to me. She promises it won't happen again, and takes my information, and says they will get someone to call me back and set up a visit to give a quote to repair.

Guess who didn't call me back? The second time. Hey..I get it. My little leak in my roof wasn't a big full roof replacement for you. But you do owe me the courtesy of a phone call, especially after I'd explained that you'd already blown me off once.

For what it is worth, I did get a random message on my voicemail about 3 weeks later from a roofer that didn't identify themselves. (Long after I'd gotten the problem fixed, mind you) I don't know if it was these guys or not, but even if it was, that's an inexcusable timeline.

As an unfortunate victim of the March 2017 hail storm that roared through Lantana, TX, we had a total roof replacement to accomplish. After getting a few quotes, I found Authority Roofing and was completely blown away by the level of customer service. Authority worked efficiently to get me an additional $9500 from my insurance company that was due to me based on the damage - other roofers took what the insurance company stated first - WRONG!

Authority Roofing is HIGHLY recommended - they get it and they do exceptional work. Our roof looks so much better than our neighbors - they are all jealous!! Call Authority, they will take care of you (ask for Kent).

The team at Authority Roofing is to most professional and knowledgeable I have ever seen. They have earned certifications that only a small number of roofing companies posses. They do an amazing job helping to understand the insurance process and stand behind their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Loren Jacques was amazing. Came out and did the inspection and walked around the house with me and pointed out all the damage from the hail storm. He worked with me and my busy schedule and even helped me pick out the color for the roof. Loren and his crew did an amazing job replacing my roof and gutters. They also did my fence which looks terrific thanks to him. If you want an amazing looking roof and or fence go with Loren Jacques with authority roofing you will not be disappointed. If I could give him 10 stars I totally would!!

I have been amazed at the complete service from Catherine and Authority Roofing. They walked the property with the adjuster and found everything that needed to be repaired or replaced. The claim started with a hail damaged roof and ended up including window screens, fence stain, AC repair, etc. I would recommend them to everyone! And they got everything done in a timely manner!!

My neighborhood had baseball size hail that stay for more than 5 minutes.? Damages included roof, ceiling water damaged, windows, garage doors, and fences. Next day there were so many contractors offering services that even the local news crew show up. Personally, I have very few good experiences with construction contractors. I simply want a quality job at a reasonable price. Kenny from Authority Roofing show up. He was sincere and understood I am looking for a quality work at a reasonable price. The adjusters from the insurance came and he show up and went through all the things that needed to be fixed. Then his roofers team and contractors for garage door,...show up. They were all professional and he actually inspect the work. I noticed neighbors roofer did not remove the cover under the shingle, he informed me they cut corners by saving on materials and labor. Authority roofing will not do that. I watched all his work and the sub contractors. They knew what to do and the communications were excellent. Kenny had went beyond a 5 stars. If there were more stars I would rank higher. I am impressed with the work and integrity of Kenny.
