The EEG tech was so personable and knowledgeable. He showed my 4yo exactly what to expect and was so patient. The ladies at the front desk were also so kind and understanding! Highly recommend.

This office needs to be closed. They aren't compassion, caring, professional or worthy.

I was laughed by the EEG tech that was doing my daughter's EEG. I have a neurological condition. As part of this neurological condition I've always had a hard time figuring out left from right. The EEG tech said for me to go to the room on the left. I felt lost and could not figure out which way left was. The EEG TECH started laughing When we were in the hallway and continued as we entered into her private room. She continued to laugh. I eventually told her that I didn't know which direction left is. She laughed at me more. At This point I told her that she needed to stop laughing at me. My voice cracked as I it was already tight in my throat and try not to cry. She then told me to stop get out of the room right now, or she will not be doing the EEG. The worst part was that my sweet daughter who has been through so much herself had to watch her mother who struggles a neurological disorder feeling left out. Shouldn't an EEG tech know that this is a symptom and sign that there's a neurological condition. I did talk to the receptionist at the front desk. The front receptionist apologized and told me that this EEG Tech had no connection with the doctors office. She only comes in some Tuesdays to do EEGs for them.

This company's billing department is horrible. My senior citizen relatives came to see Dr ALi; who is a good Neurologist; and at the end of the visit wrote a check for their $35 CoPay. Unfortunately being senior citizens w/ NEUROLOGICAL disorders they made the mistake an wrote it on the wrong bank.
No big deal you would think, senior citizens sometimes make mistakes. When alerted to their mistake they drove to the office to pay. The receptionist made the error of not accepting payment via Debit Card for the previous CoPay owed. Which she later admitted to when I called her on the phone, as she incorrectly assumed my relatives wanted to pay for a future visit that was scheduled a few weeks from that day.
Well the geniuses at the billing department had the bright idea of threatening and harassing senior citizens to pay an extra arbitrary $50 fee, instead of just accepting the $35 COPay for services rendered.. A fee that when I talked to them on the phone could not even come up with a lie to justify.
To truly understand the level of intellect we are talking about. They wanted to fight for a $50 fee on two patients who's Medicare Insurance would've paid Dr. Ali thousands per year for the rest of their lives. However the two mental midgets I spoke to at the billing department obviously felt empowered in what must be their otherwise drab lives, to bully senior citizens instead.
Long story short, Dr. Ali is a good Neurologist but not so good as too offset the unprofessional behavior of his OUTSOURCED billing departmentHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elizabeth H.Plano, TX61Nov 29, 2017
Dr. El-Moslimany is brilliant and personable. Her Medical Assistant is neither. Sadly, the MA makes it very clear that you have to go through her to get to the doctor. The process to communicate any and all information to or from the office requires leaving a voice message. You will not receive a response, period. When you do reach the MA, you run the risk of being blasted for calling "everyday", even if your follow up has been measured and patient. My experience was shockingly unprofessional and though I desperately wish to remain a patient of Dr. El-Moslimany's, I have no choice but to seek care elsewhere.

My daughter and I had new patient appointments and decided to be seen together because since my daughter does not know our family medical history. Someone kept knocking on the door rushing the Medical assistant recording our vitals and asking medical questions. The female MA had only been in the room wuth us a total of 5 mins befire the knocks began, the door opened and she began explaining to tge doctor that sge was almost dine. The doctor came in anyway and did not allow her to finish. The female neurologist entered and began with my daughter. She asked if I was going to speak for my daughter or allow her to speak for herself when when my daughter looked to me for help answering the doctors' question. So I tried to stay out of their assessment but the doctor kept asking me to answer more questions regarding our history as it pertained to my daughter's assessment. The doctor was not thorough in her questions using one or two words instead of asking full questions. She expected you to know what she was talking about and kept repeating the incomplete statements versus further explaining what she meant. Not sure if she needed coffee or was having a bad morning but she sure turned a doctor's appt that my daughter and I were looking forward to into an intense and stressful event. Her bedside manners were non existent. This doctor was rude! I will not be returning. Everyone deserves respect. The rest of the staff however was wonderful.

I must first say that I had and have no problem with the doctor who provided me with service. I have a serious problem, however, with the Institute's patient services, for want of a better term. My doctor prescribed two new medications, and when I picked them up the Pharmacist suggested that I verify with the dr that it was alright to continue a medication I was already taking and had been for some years. I have no space to explain in detail the number of times I called to ask the question, only to be told to press this number and that, and at the end reach only a voice mail telling me to leave a message. Also, multiple calls would cause delays. After about three days I finally spoke to a human who assured me she would check with the doctor and call me back. That was a week ago and I still have no call back. It is a sad thing that doctors who are obviously caring and trustworthy should have such un-trustworthy assistance.
