Totally hesitant to start swim school during coronavirus and all... but my daughter really needed to learn how to swim! I came and I saw how this swim school operates and I was impressed. We enrolled right away.
Classes are really small and the teachers give great personalized instruction to each kid. My girl, who was afraid to put her face in the water, went from hanging on the side of the pool to swimming 1/2 way across the width of the pool (without floaties or help!) within a matter of weeks.
They do a temp check upon entering the school for kids and parents alike and have spaced out chairs for parent viewing. And they are constantly cleaning the space.
We love coming here to swim!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Payal P.Carrollton, TX14179293Aug 11, 2019
I have been meaning to write a review for this gem of a place and have been really behind on getting my reviews in...
This place is amazing!
Location: 5/5. It is right off of 121 and is super convenient, no matter where you are coming from.
Cleanliness: 5/5. A lot of pools and schools can sometimes feel cluttered. Every time I've been everything has been very organized. Its a swim school so obviously there will be water in common areas near the pool.
I am so grateful that they have adult swimming classes. I do wish they had alternative time options, but just the fact they have this is a 5/5 for me.
The staff and instructors are all very friendly. Everyone always seems to have a smile on their face which makes getting into a pool a little less anxious. I have never had any issues with customer service.
I highly recommend this place if you're looking for swim lessons, regardless if it is for adults or kids! You will not be disappointed!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vin K.Sauganash, Chicago, IL0196Feb 26, 2019First to Review

I reviewed already about adult classes
Now I am reviewing for kids class
He was with water champs for almost 7 months now and he can swim in his own for 30 feet and he is with coach Jordan .
He learnt swimming really good
The staff are so friendly and the coaches teach excellentHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 1, 2019Previous reviewIt's nice place to learn swimming
The coaches are awesome
Staff is also so friendly
I have some concerns
1.For adults they don't have classes based on level so the effective time you get is very less in a group class
2.the changing area is wet most of the times - they are trying their best to keep it dry though
The showers are public showers , it's not a shower room ( and I came to know that no where in Texas swim schools will have showers and they only have rinse showers) - M P.Dallas, TX012May 29, 2020
We just started our daughter age 6 at Water Champs Swim School. We were nervous about Coronavirus, but my wife and I decided that we couldn't deprive our child forever. We have been to 2 classes since they re-opened after the government shutdowns and have been totally happy with the experience. Their swim teacher wore a face shield, and my daughter was happy. I even noticed the staff cleaning the door handles and chairs while I was there. We look forward to our daughter's lessons here.

Friendly management and swim instructors. My 2 year old loves her weekly swim lesson. We've been attending since opening weekend, and we've been pleased with everything, especially since it's a new business. The swim instructors are very personable. Would recommend!

Horrible customer service. They just opened so they are still figuring things out. My 4 year old has severe anxiety when it comes to swimming. We were so happy we found a place with an instructor he loved. We signed up for private lessons. After 4 classes, they increased their prices by 25% and changed his instructor last minute (day of class) without any heads up. My son showed up super excited to learn swimming with his new favorite Jordan and he was so heart broken to know they assigned him to someone else. As I complained, the staff told me my son needed help with breathing techniques and jordan was not the best instructor for him. I think jordan is a great instructor. He had my son going under water in just 3 classes (mind you- my son is terrified of any water on his head including showers). They refused to help. Very disappointed. Was so happy that he finally made progress in the water and everything turned around for us.

Sheetal, I'm sorry you feel this way. All our instructors are greatly skilled and its very common for instructors to change as the swimmers progress through levels. We're sorry to see him leave, we could have really helped him, as you mentioned we got him to go under water in 3 lessons, imagine where we could have taken him if you did not pull him out. He was really happy with his new instructor, I wish he could have continued. Additionally, we honored your request for a refund, no questions asked and made an exception to our cancellation policy of 30 day notice. Our goal truly is to teach swimming and I hope he is able to learn that.

He spent 10 mins of his class crying because he didn't want to swim anymore and they pulled him out 2 mins early and didn't even finish his entire class or offer 10 extra mins since the time was wasted due to their fault.
