Maintains a Color Guard for community events in Frisco and the surrounding area and an Honor Guard for funeral/ memorial services for area veterans.
Holds Veterans Day programs and raises funds for our annual Christmas time donation to the Clyde Cosper State Veterans Home in Bonham. The American Legion Auxiliary is also involved with Girls State, poppy distribution, and Red Hat days.
Participants annually in the Texas Boys State since 2014. Thus far, the post has sent 155 high school junior boys to Texas Boys State and two to Boys Nation in Washington, D.C.
Sponsors Frisco, Texas, Boy Scout Troop 178, Cub Scout Pack 178, and Venturing Crew 178.
Holds an annual Oratorical Scholarship Contest. The speech contest exists to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution for high school students, 9th-12th grade.
Holds voter registration events at various locations, including Frisco High Schools, to register voters.
Each year in December, the post participates in Wreaths Across America by assisting with the distributing, laying, and retrieving of wreaths at the D/FW National Cemetery.
The post’s volunteer activities and services strengthen our community. Our post actively sponsors wholesome community programs that advocate patriotism and honor, and we are committed to mentoring youth. |

| Lovepacs Frisco provides boxes of food for students needing support. Each box contains breakfast, lunch, and a snack for each day students are out of school during long holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas (where they receive two boxes), and Spring Break. They also provide snacks and disposable water bottles for counselors and nurses to provide for students in need of additional nutrition and support during the school day.
