We are the foundation for a thriving community. Our community is a special place, with a long history of caring citizens, rapid growth and a robust economy. But as it continues to grow, so do the needs of those facing imbalances in income, racial equity, and educational and economic opportunity. And data suggests these needs will only increase. But the future of our community can remain bright. At Communities Foundation of Texas, we work side by side with caring donors, committed nonprofits, philanthropy-focused businesses and civic leaders to help build communities that thrive for all.

Our mission is to create a greener environment, empower our internal customers, and give back to our community by supporting local non-profits. R2S is a locally owned community clothing donation center. Donations are recycled into financial support for local charities, providing funding to its community partners. For over 11 years, the primary way we serve our communities is by providing funds to local charities through a sustainable system of donated textile recycling. Donated goods are converted into financial support to local charities.

Jesus challenges us to serve the least of these We all dream of a better life … for ourselves, and our families. However, those who lack a safe home, daily food source, and healthy environment have a hard time dreaming of a bright future. Unfortunately, many of our neighbors in the Dallas Metroplex are suffering in our own backyard. The Dallas Dream Team is a sisterhood of Christian women in the Dallas area, from all backgrounds, vocations, and denominations, united by our love for Christ and passion for helping those in need.

Keeping children safe is a fundamental responsibility for us all. The Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas operates by bringing services to the child instead of the child going from place to place to tell their stories and get the help they need. Getting help starts with you. Do you know what the warning signs of child abuse are? Learn how to recognize, prevent, and report child abuse.
